The Staircase (A collaboration poem by NFGeeks FB Group Memebers)
ISFP(FEMALE)
There’s a long set of stairs leading to a path that will take you into the depths of a lush forest with green everywhere. The stairs are covered in dead leaves and the railing looks like it grew from the ground, giving the whole staircase the appearance of belonging in the woods. Overall, it just makes me think of life, hope, and adventure. Gorgeous.
INFP(FEMALE)
“wow beautiful” – It’s like a funfair ride in nature… just want to touch that railing and walk barefoot on those steps. I don’t care where the steps go to. Right there at the top of the stairs that view is perfect. I actually wonder what is out of view to the left of me. I would walk that way rather than down stairs….”

a staircase surrounded by a beautiful lush green trees, the soil is dark so it could be in a tropical region, the staircase most likely leads to a river or some sort of a water way… it would have been better if a trail was made rather than a staircase which interferes with the natural beauty of the place…
My first thoughts were that it was a beautiful picture and that it was leading somewhere mysterious and exciting. I thought of alice in wonderland, leading down the rabbit hole.

There is a face in that picture on the left which is scaring me lol ok a long path going down in the woods , the fact that it is going down and not up seems rather negative but then again , it could mean , a path going deep down ourselves , looks like the path to our deeper self with scary faces representing scary moments of memories along the way to overcome … also , it is slippery …the path to our deeper self is a slippery path ..

As I descend the steps in my mind, I look around and cannot help but smirk at the lengths my subconscious has gone to, to make this realm appear tranquil. A forest scene was a nice touch; I’ve always felt calm in the woods. But it got two things wrong. The lighting is off. I feel safer around noon, and the shadows show it to be either later or cloudy. And more importantly, the steps lead down. Down has always been a scary concept to me. Up is much safer, much more hopeful. This tells me to stay alert. I do not know what I’ll confront at the bottom of these steps, these long, arduous steps of my own design. I brace myself, and continue my descent, fearful but yearning to greet the shadow at the base.

It’s a staircase probably in a public park on a walking trail after a storm. There was some debris and dirt that the wind displaced on the surface of the stairs. The railing is to the right because people are prejudice against left handedness. The sun hasn’t been out long enough to dry the soil, but the air has dried the railing. The cement glistens as tho it were wet, but the pavement is actually pretty porous. It would be safe to walk, if only for the damned right only railing!!!
